Greenbug, Schizaphis graminum
Non-colonizer of potato. Infestation on sorghum. Colony of apterous viviparae and many nymphs. Hosts include: sorghum, wheat, barley, corn, millet, oats, rice, and rye. Lawns may also be affected by greenbug infestations in the Midwestern U.S. Eggs laid into leaf sheaths of Winter cereals or other grasses (Family Poaceae).
